Wilbur is a 7-year-old donkey who was adopted from "The Mitchell Centre for Equine Rescue and Education" in September 2007. He was found alone in a field, completely neglected with hooves so long and curled that he could barely walk. He was likely abused, as he was very timid around people when he first arrived. Wilbur has made amazing progress and is actually becoming quite affectionate. Both Bell and Kiah are particularly fond of Wilbur.
